This marks the end of the La Jolla beach shots with the fun Ricoh R1 35mm film camera. I hope you have enjoyed the photos.
Cheers!!!

Beach
The little beach north of the Ellen Browning Scripps Park was buzzing with activity, swimmers and snorklers in the water, sunbathers and lookers on the sand. Good eyes if you can pick out Scripps Pier near the upper-right of the photo.

Beach Central
The little beach north of the Ellen Browning Scripps Park was buzzing with activity, swimmers and snorklers in the water, sunbathers and lookers on the sand. In the distant, kayakers toured caves and birds, resting on cliffs, looked on. That's La Jolla Shores way over there.

Children's Pool
Cordoned off from beach-goers when seals have their pups, the children pool is a popular spot for swimmers of all ages, including little ones.

Reflection
I had some old b&w film from a long forgotten Ricoh R1 point-and-shoot. The battery was dead. I was happy it came to life when I gave it new battery, unfortunately, the LED was all messed up. After finding a pdf version of the manual online and familiarized myself with the controls, I took some test shots with what remained of the old roll.

Erosion
Wind and rain erode the landscape adjacent to the glider port, creating deep ruts in the ground. That's Scripps Pier in the distant and La Jolla (the village) at the tip of the crescent.

Steps
A steep trail descents atop the Glider Port onto Black's Beach below, meanwhile, para-gliders soar above it all, surfing the updraft along the cliff wall.
